Something New Is Starting at Brain Body Life

Hello, I know it’s school hols and that changes things for some of you but I wanted to give you a heads up on the next group workshop starting soon – hope you can join in it’s going to be awesome!

If you've been told your tiredness is "just stress," your fog is "just age," or your flatness is "just hormones" — and none of those answers ever quite added up to the full picture — this is for you.

I'm opening a small, live group (zoom or in person) this spring: The Resilient Reset — four weeks, built around the same method I use with my one-to-one clients, the Dots Connected Method.

It's not another wellness checklist. It's a genuine look at why trying harder has stopped working the way it used to — and what actually changes when you build real capacity instead of just pushing through. If you have been thinking about working with me, haven’t touched base for a while or just ready for new tips & tricks to navigate life this is for you.

A small taste, right now

Here's one idea we'll go deeper on in Week 1: most of what feels like "I've just lost my edge" isn't a character problem — it's a capacity problem. The same stress your 30-something self may have shrugged off can tip a changing nervous system into fatigue, fog, or flatness — not because you're doing it wrong, but because the load has changed and the buffer around it has too. Once you can actually see that, you stop fighting yourself for not coping "like you used to," and start building the capacity that lets you meet what's real now.

Over four weeks, we'll:

— Connect the dots between the real systems in your body — so symptoms stop looking random.

— Find your actual starting point — capacity, not character, and why regulation isn't the same as "calm".

— Choose the one daily lever that will genuinely move the needle for you, not another list of eight.

— Rewire the story underneath it all, so the shift actually sticks.

Two ways to start

Pick the day, whichever suits your week — then join the same time each week after that:

Sunday 18 October, 4pm OR Wednesday 21 October, 12pm

Live online or in person at the Grey Lynn clinic. Small group, genuinely personal. Four sessions, 90 minutes each — 60 minutes of teaching, 30 minutes of Q&A and group discussion. If your choosing the Sunday group and are away labour weekend we can decide within the group whether to push that week forward or to do week 2+3 together I’m open to what works for the majority of you.

Investment: $390. Bring a friend, or start your own private group: $350 per person.

To reserve your spot: email karen@brainbodylife.co.nz — just let me know which start date suits you & whether you prefer online zoom or in person at the Grey Lynn clinic. Spots are kept small on purpose, so the sooner you let me know, the better.

Prefer to gather a few friends and run it privately? Email the same way and we'll find a date and time that works for your own group.

Have questions before deciding? Email me — I'm genuinely happy to answer, and I'll fold anything that comes up into the next update so everyone benefits.

Why now

This push — trying to power through the same way you always have — is common in midlife and beyond, and hormone fluctuations add another real layer on top. The good news: genetics account for roughly 20–30% of the picture. The rest is genuinely within your hands.

This round is small on purpose. If it's time to stop white-knuckling it and actually understand what's underneath, I'd love to have you.

Two-and-a-half weeks until we start — so it really help me to hear from you even if your email is just acknowledging interest.

X Karen

Please do your friends a favour by sharing the midlife & beyond-love! I appreciate your support.
