A Timely Note on Immune Resilience
You've probably noticed the amount of viral illness going around New Zealand at the moment — and it's predicted to continue well into spring. The flu in particular becomes a genuinely bigger challenge when your gut health, systemic inflammation, stress physiology, metabolic health, and daily lifestyle habits are out of balance — all of these directly affect your immune function, and how well and how quickly you actually recover. You want to genuinely avoid post-viral syndromes, not just get through the illness itself.

It's worth knowing, too, that age plays a real part — an older immune system carries the memory of everything it's already faced, and a healthy 70-year-old's immune response and recovery genuinely can't be compared to a healthy 30-year-old's. We've sadly seen this play out publicly this year, with a couple of well-known figures passing from pneumonia — a genuinely common illness that becomes far more dangerous as immune resilience declines with age.
If you'd like support moving into genuine prevention, or active support if you're already unwell, do get in touch via email or you can also fill out the form on the website takes a few minutes and helps me understand your situation and clarify our conversation.
Looking Ahead to Spring
As we head into spring, I'm also putting together the next round of The Resilient Reset — my 4-week group program, and a genuinely accessible way to experience the whole approach alongside other women. Spring genuinely invites cleansing and growth — a natural time to clear what's no longer serving you, and make space for who you're becoming next. More detail coming your way soon and in the meantime you can check out the website connected info there, including exactly what's involved and how to bring a friend along.
Also, I'm thrilled to hear from you and appreciate it when my email is forwarded to someone new. Please do your friends a favour by sharing the midlife & neuro-love! I appreciate your support.
Warmly,
x Karen
